Most contractors will not quote until they have been to your house, which is fair on the final number and useless when you are trying to work out whether to call anyone at all.
So the services below publish their rate, project minimum, and what the rate covers wherever we have built enough of them to know. You can work out your own ballpark in about a minute and decide from there whether a site walk is worth your afternoon. Decks, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls, drainage, kitchens and bathrooms are the exceptions, and each of those pages says why.

What kind of residential work do you do?
Outside the house: fence installation and repair, engineered patio covers and cedar pavilions, outdoor kitchens, concrete patios, walks and driveways, travertine patios, walkways and pool decks, retaining walls, French drains and yard drainage, decks, screened porches, sunrooms and patio enclosures, garage conversions, room additions and ground-up builds. Inside, only high-end kitchen and primary bathroom remodels: whole rooms, not refreshes, because small, low-budget kitchens and baths are the ones that go badly. We roof the covers and structures we build, but we are not a roofing company and do not replace house roofs.
Do you publish your prices?
Wherever we have built enough of a scope to know what it costs: fencing, patio covers, concrete, travertine and additions carry rates, project minimums and what each band covers. Decks, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls, drainage, kitchens and bathrooms are quoted from the walk, and each of those pages says why. Either way the number on your contract comes from a site walk and a written scope, but you should be able to tell whether we are in your range before you spend an afternoon on it.
Are you the same company that does commercial work?
Same company, same insurance, same crews. i30 Builders builds tenant improvements and commercial renovations across DFW and East Texas, and residential work runs out of the same office with the same written-scope process. The practices are separated on this site because the questions are different, not because the company is.
Where do you work?
Dallas-Fort Worth and East Texas. Rockwall, Royse City, Fate, Heath, Forney, Terrell, Greenville and the surrounding towns are routine; Tyler, Longview and Canton are regular East Texas work. If you are outside that, ask, and we will tell you straight whether it makes sense.
How does the quote work?
A site walk, then a written scope back within five business days. The scope names the work, the materials, and the price, and the price does not move unless the scope does. Anything found behind a wall or under a slab that changes the work is priced and approved in writing before we touch it.
