Custom Shower & Bath Cost

Standard tile shower (waterproofing, pan, tile walls, standard fixtures): $14,500. Standard tile shower with niche + glass (the i30 standard package): $18,500. Curbless / zero-threshold tile shower: $24,500. Basic tub-to-shower replacement: $8,500. All-in pricing includes demo, sub-floor, waterproof membrane, slope engineering, plumbing rough-in adjustments, tile, grout, sealer, niche/bench builds, glass install, and finish hardware.

Powder bath refresh: $8,500. Hall bath cosmetic remodel: $14,500. Hall bath full remodel: $24,500. Primary bath standard remodel: $38,500. Primary bath custom remodel: $58,500. The custom-shower package fits inside any of these, or quote it standalone.

Curbless (zero-threshold) showers require either lowering the shower pan below the surrounding floor (drop the joists or recess the slab) or raising the surrounding bathroom floor. Plus a linear drain. Plus more precise waterproofing — water can travel further if the slope is off. That's $10,000 more than a standard curbed build, but it's a real aging-in-place asset and visually striking.

Most full tile shower builds run 2–3 weeks on-site. The schedule isn't the install — it's the cure windows: membrane needs to cure, thinset needs to cure, grout needs to cure, sealer needs time before use. We schedule the trades so cure time doesn't stack into surprise extra days.

The $18.5K standard package adds a tile niche (or two), a built-in bench seat, and a frameless glass panel + door. The $14.5K base is a clean tile shower with standard glass. Both use the same Schluter-Kerdi or Hydro Ban waterproofing under the tile — that's not where we cut corners.

All i30 Builders full-project prices include normal mobilization, ordinary protection of adjacent areas, labor, standard materials listed in the scope, project coordination, normal cleanup, and a one-year workmanship warranty on the listed scope.
