Scope of Work
Exterior facade refresh on an older Carrollton brick ranch. Five custom cedar board-and-batten shutter pairs built, stained, and mounted to existing windows. New cedar porch column wrap and exposed cedar beam over the front entry, integrated into the existing roofline. Painted-brick base preserved.
Constraints Navigated
Older home — existing window openings and porch framing varied slightly side-to-side, so each shutter pair was templated on site rather than shop-cut to a single dimension. During build the crew identified existing framing that needed solution-fitting rather than the original plan; pricing held at the original quote.
Materials Used
- Cedar board-and-batten shutters
- Cedar porch column wrap
- Exposed cedar header beam
- Exterior-grade cedar stain
- Galvanized fasteners + decorative hinges
Outcome
Facade transformation delivered in a week, on the original quoted price. Client added i30 to their go-to list for future projects on the home.
“i30 Builders were absolutely the best! When they saw something not conducive to what we planned on doing, they figured out a solution. The pricing stayed the same.”
