Featured Build

Real build, real inputs. Decking system, framing depth, footing count, stair stringers, railing material, and grade transitions all moved this number, and every deck moves differently. The case study shows what one specific project actually looked like. Yours will be priced on the site, materials, and finish choices we walk together.

Common Questions
Planned, custom decks. Multi-level builds, integrated lighting, built-in benches and planters, composite with aluminum, cable, or glass rail systems, and code-engineered elevated decks. That's where we do our best work. We can also build a clean standard ground-level deck. We're upfront if your project is generic enough that you'd be better off with a builder-grade installer.
Trex, TimberTech AZEK, and pressure-treated lumber. At the consult, we bring material samples and walk through the tradeoffs. Composite costs more upfront but requires almost no maintenance compared to wood.
Yes. Decks require permits in most DFW municipalities. We handle the permit application, schedule structural inspections, and get final city sign-off. We won't dig a footing until the permit is in hand.
We dig footings below the active soil zone and size them to your soil's bearing capacity, not the minimum code depth. For expansive clay common in Rockwall and Kaufman counties, that means deeper footings with proper diameter to prevent heave. You're paying for footings that hold the deck flat for the long haul.
Yes. We can include electrical rough-in for low-voltage deck lighting, post-cap lights, outlet boxes, and ceiling-fan mounting on covered portions. All of it is coordinated during the build, not bolted on after.
