Common Questions
We primarily build with grade-selected cedar, sealed during installation for weather resistance. We also work with aluminum pergola systems for maximum durability and minimal maintenance. We bring material samples to the consult.
Yes. We can include electrical rough-in for ceiling fans, outlet boxes, and lighting circuits as part of the build. Everything is coordinated under one contract so you don't have to hire an electrician separately.
It depends on the municipality and structure size. Attached pergolas almost always require permits. We assess permit requirements for your city upfront and handle the filing if needed.
A pergola has an open lattice roof that provides partial shade but is not fully weather-resistant. A covered patio has a solid or translucent roof panel that blocks rain. We can walk you through both options and help you decide based on your goals.
