More From This Project

Scope of Work
Converted an outdated carpeted living room into a dedicated home theater. Navy accent walls, ceiling re-finish with recessed-light reset, mounted display with floating reclaimed-wood mantel, theater seating, and new low-pile striped carpet over fresh pad.
Constraints Navigated
Occupied home — adjacent rooms in daily use throughout the build. Existing popcorn ceiling and dated wall texture removed and re-finished before paint. New carpet had to lay flush to the threshold of the connecting room with no transition strip showing.
Materials Used
- Navy interior latex paint
- Re-finished smooth ceiling
- Reclaimed-wood mantel
- Recessed LED lighting
- Low-pile striped carpet over premium pad
Outcome
Delivered turnkey — TV mounted and wired, theater seating placed, room handed off ready to use. Daily clean-up kept the rest of the house functional throughout.
