Heath's residential character is distinct from the higher-density Rockwall and Rowlett markets along the lake's western shore. Lots are large, often an acre or more. Tree canopy is mature. Homeowners who chose Heath specifically because they didn't want the density of Stonebridge Ranch or Plano now have properties that benefit from substantial outdoor living infrastructure. Wraparound porches, large composite deck systems, pergola packages with outdoor kitchens, and screened porch additions are all common. Because properties are larger, project footprints are larger — and investment scales accordingly.
