Stamped concrete patios and driveways — custom patterns, color stains, and a proper base for clay soil.
Stamped concrete patios and walkways are a popular upgrade for Fate homeowners who want a custom look without the cost and joint maintenance of pavers. Patterns and color options are wide — from travertine and slate to wood plank textures — and the result looks premium while holding up to North Texas heat cycles.

Scope of Work
Why i30 Builders
Fate's newer subdivisions often have HOA requirements and deed restrictions. We handle all documentation needs and can coordinate with your builder's warranty if your home is still relatively new.
How It Works
Design & Pattern
We review pattern and color options in person before quoting — you see exactly what you're getting.
Base Prep
Proper grading, sub-base compaction, and reinforcement placement ensure the slab stays flat in clay soil.
Pour & Stamp
Concrete poured, stamped to pattern, and color-stained in a coordinated same-day process.
Seal & Walk
Sealer applied after cure, then we walk the finished surface with you to ensure color and pattern consistency.
Stamped Concrete FAQs for Fate
Ashlar slate, random stone, and large-format flagstone patterns are most popular in Fate because they complement the contemporary and craftsman home styles common in the subdivisions. We bring sample boards to consultation so you can visualize options in your actual space.
Yes — a penetrating concrete sealer is required after stamping to protect color and pattern from UV fade, freeze-thaw cycles, and staining. We apply sealer as part of every stamped concrete installation and recommend re-sealing every 2–3 years.
Stamped concrete is one solid surface without joints, making it easier to clean and maintain. It can crack over time in clay soil, which is why we use proper base preparation, control joints, and fiber reinforcement on every pour. Pavers are more forgiving of soil movement but require more joint maintenance.
Client Experience
“Our backyard had three problems: no privacy, terrible drainage after every rain, and an ugly cracked concrete pad. i30 Builders fixed all three in one project. Cedar privacy fence along the back and sides, French drain running to the street, and a paver patio over where the old concrete was. They phased it correctly — drainage and grading first, fence second, pavers last. The yard doesn't flood anymore and we actually use the patio now. I've used a lot of contractors over the years and these guys are in the top tier: show up when they say, communicate what's happening, and actually clean up after themselves.”
